Tuesday/Friday Patchwork with Kerrie
Every second Tuesday - 10:00 am to 1:00 pm

Fun-filled class for beginners and more experienced quilters alike.
Continue with a project you have already started or choose from a number of beginner's quilts or smaller projects if preferred. Small in stature, big in knowledge!!
Cost: $25.00 per class

Mon morning - week of each month- 1st & 3rd Mon 9:30am - 12pm
Tue evenings - every week - 7:00pm - 9:30pm
Wed mornings - every week 9:30am - 12pm
Thu evenings - every week except 1st thursday of the month 7pm - 9:30pm
Wed evening - fortnightly 7pm - 9:30am
Come to Jenny's classes to learn fundamentals of basic patchwork or bring along your UFO's and enjoy the company of others while you stitch.
Cost $18.50 per class
Embroidery Club with Ruth Marshall
This is a relaxed class held monthly and teaches what ever form of embroidery and sewing you would like to learn.
Techniques include: Candlewicking, Crochet, cross stitch, basic embroidery stitches, beadwork, blockwork, Brazilian embroidery, bullion embroidery,Drawn thread, heirloom sewing, knitting, ribbon embroidery, smocking, stumpwork, tapestry, and just about anything else you can think of.
First Thursday evening of each month from 7pm to 9pm
Cost: $18.50 per lesson
Machine Quilting with Deborah Louie
This is an intensive fun course. Come and learn to quilt your own quilts. In day 1 you will learn how to mark,pin, stabilize,cross hatch,stitch in the ditch, and quilt cables on your quilts.Also free motion stippling and swirls and Bring along quilt tops so you can get advice on how to quilt them. Day 2 is a aday of free motion stitching designs like swirls,Baptismal Fans, stipple, flowers, textures, echos,pebbles, waves and many more. Also we will quilt free form feathers, mark free quilting. We will look at quilting pattern and how to repaet them, & change them to make them original and suit your quilt.
Deborah shares her extensive knowledge with you to get you quilting all those tops in your cupboard.

Enrolment - Please enrol in the class or classes of your own choice by either coming into the store, or call us and we will be happy to enrol you over the telephone. We ask that a deposit be paid for each class that you would like to do. This can be done either over the telephone with your credit cadr,or by visiting us the shop in person.
Please note that your place in a class is not secure until we receive the deposit. Requirements lists will be issued to you with your confirmation of enrolment.
Cancellations: - We reserve the right to cancel a class if there are not sufficient enrolments. If we cancel the class, we will either refund your deposit or transfer it to another class,as you prefer. If you wish to cancel your enrolment in a class after your deposit is paid,we will refund your deposit if there is a waiting list of students waiting to do the class, or if you can find someone to take your place in the class. You may not cancel part way through a series of classes, so please check class dates carefully prior to enrolling.
Lunch for full day classes: - There are many coffe and sandwich shops close by Camden, but it is often a good idea to bring your lunch with you. Tea,coffee and water are available in the class all day. |
